Angthong National Marine Park
Mo Koh Ang Thong National Park consists of 42 islands and is a safe haven for many species of mammals, reptiles and birds. The protected park area spans over 102 km² and is located between the mainland and the islands of Koh Samui and Koh Phangan. It is most famous for Talay Nai, also known as the Emerald Lake, whose tranquil waters reflect the sunlight in countless shades of green. Originally is was a giant cavern, until one day the ceiling collapsed, making way for this fantastic saltwater lake.
The park is also famous for having inspired the Hollywood movie “The Beach”, which was partially filmed here as well. With its calm water and beautifully mysterious islands, this place invites you to discover its hidden treasures and be inspired by its unique beauty.
Setting Sail for Ang Thong Marine Park
You will begin the tour by climbing aboard our yacht at Petchart Pier. After you have been welcomed on board and familiarized by our multilingual crew on the safety procedures, facilities, and perks of our fabulous vessel, we will set sail for the beautiful park.

About the Location: Ang Thong Marine National Park is located about 35 kilometers west of Koh Samui. It consists of 42 islands that consist of 50 square kilometers of land and 52 kilometers of water.
Departure: We leave from Petcherat Pier in Bangrak.
